Visualizing and Verbalizing for Language Comprehension and Thinking® (V/V®)

Does your child read words accurately but does not comprehend what he or she reads?  Does your child have problems connecting to language he or she reads or hears?  Despite their hard work (and yours), your child gets mislabeled as not applying themselves or having attention problems.

The problem may be weak concept imagery or the inability to grasp the big picture as they only get "parts" of what they've read.

Commonly, children may experience the following:

  • difficulty with reading comprehension

  • difficulty with critical thinking

  • may not easily follow directions or connect to conversations

  • difficulty expressing ideas in an organized manner

  • may have to reread material several times and often remember a few details as opposed to the whole story

  • may have difficulty organizing thought and scattered in their discussion and out of sequence

  • may be labeled being a poor listener or not applying themselves or lacking focus

  • writing may be unorganized and nonspecific

The Nancibell® Visualizing and Verbalizing for Language Comprehension and Thinking® (V/V®) successfully stimulates concept imagery. Individuals become able to image gestalts which include color, and even movement. This improves their language comprehension, reasoning for critical thinking, and expressive language skills.

It is common for individuals to gain years in language comprehension in four weeks of intensive instruction.
